Undone is the second book in author Lila DiPasqua’s Fiery Tales series. Fiery Tales are erotic retellings inspired by Fairy Tales. Undone is inspired by the tale of Rapunzel.

Simon Boulenger was born a commoner, son of a fisherman. He was orphaned at a young age and worked his way up to be the French Crown’s most successful privateer and the captain of his own fleet.

Angelica has been hiding away in a convent for 10 years in the Republic of Genoa, ever since she escaped France. So when she awakes in a château in the south of France she’s horrified.

If you’ve read the first book in this series, A Midnight Dance then you’ve already met Simon. I’ll admit he intrigued me in the last book and I was excited to hear this book was his story. Well I absolutely fell for Simon! He’s definitely one of my favorite hero’s of Ms. DiPasqua!

I absolutely adored Simon and Angelica together. Both have insecurities and tragedies in their pasts that keep them from being open with each other. This was definitely an extremely emotionally charged book. There is a lot going on in this story and I don’t want to give away any spoilers. But it was a fantastic read that I struggled to put down it was so good. The storyline was intriguing, wonderful secondary characters and an absolutely perfect ending! I loved this story and would highly recommend it!
